Is it true you’ve been producing music since you were 14?
Indeed, it is true. However, the journey continues to unfold. Each occasion I delve into music creation represents a fresh learning experience in its own right. There remain moments of exhilaration as I stumble upon novel sound design or mixing techniques. I am profoundly grateful for every individual who has crossed paths with me along this voyage. Their openness, willingness to collaborate, appetite for discovery, refusal to rest on laurels, and, of course, shared enjoyment have greatly enriched my journey.
Which artists have inspired you the most?
Well there are a lot, but when I’m really hyped about an artist, I listen to the artist all the time. Like really all the time… Nevertheless my biggest inspiration is Polaroit still and especially Jonas Gewald gave me an incredible amount of inspiration. You should really check out his piano music as well!
Tell us more about how that influences your music. What else do you draw inspiration from?
Everything holds the potential to inspire me, yet one of the foremost catalysts is the state of mind or “mood” I find myself in. During moments of intense emotion, such as happiness, creativity flows effortlessly and swiftly. Additionally, I draw inspiration from exploring diverse genres, including the most unconventional ones. For instance, I’ve curated a personal Spotify playlist aptly named “weird inspo,” which serves as a unique source of inspiration.
Do you have any other hobbies and/or interests?
Absolutely, but music-making is my primary passion. Consequently, aside from my personal life, there’s little time left for other pursuits; most of my time is dedicated to creating music.
